The official RPMC / RSAHC Paramedical Diploma Admission notification for session 2026-27 has not been released yet on the Council portal. Last session (2025-26) the online application opened on 23 July 2025 (original last date 21 August 2025) and, after extensions, closed on 11 November 2025; the provisional merit list came on 12 November 2025 and the first online counselling ran from 21 November 2025. This guide is prepared from the Council's official 2025-26 notification (dated 18.07.2025) so that you can apply on day one when the 2026-27 window opens. The notification is always published on rsahcouncil.org and admissions.rsahcouncil.org.
RPMC Paramedical Admission 2026-27 is the single online admission process through which students take admission in 2-year paramedical diploma courses in Rajasthan — DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology), DRT (Diploma in Radiation Technology), DOTT (Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology), Diploma in ECG Technology and Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology. The process is run by the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council (RSAHC), Jaipur — the body that students still search as RPMC (Rajasthan Paramedical Council). There is no entrance exam: seats are allotted on a 10+2 marks merit list through online counselling. What is RPMC? (RPMC vs RSAHC — Same Council, New Name)
RPMC stands for Rajasthan Paramedical Council, the state body that has been regulating paramedical diploma education, admissions, examinations and technician registration in Rajasthan for years. After the National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP) Act, 2021, the Government of Rajasthan constituted the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council (RSAHC) on 30 August 2024, and by a notification dated 04 July 2025 the term "Allied and Healthcare" officially replaced the word "Paramedical". So RPMC admission, RSAHC admission and Rajasthan Paramedical Council admission all mean the same process. The Council office is at C-7A, Sultan House, Sawai Jai Singh Highway, Bani Park, Jaipur — 302016.
Courses Under RPMC Paramedical Admission 2026-27
In the 2025-26 counselling the Council invited applications for 12 allied and healthcare (paramedical) diploma courses. All are 2-year programmes with theory, practicals and hospital training, and all need 10+2 Science. ✅ No Entrance Exam — Admission Purely on 12th Marks
As per the Council's official notification, the merit list (वरीयता सूची) is prepared only from the marks obtained in the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) examination. There is no written test, no interview and no NEET requirement. A higher 12th percentage simply means a better rank and a better chance of getting your first-choice college and course in the first counselling round.
RPMC Paramedical Admission 2026-27 Eligibility Criteria (Official)

📅 What to expect for 2026-27
In the last two sessions the application window opened between mid-July and mid-August. The 2026-27 notification is therefore already delayed compared to the usual pattern, so it can come at any time — keep your 10th and 12th marksheets, category certificate and a scanned photo/signature ready. We will update this page the day the Council releases the 2026-27 advertisement.
How to Apply for RPMC Paramedical Admission 2026-27 (Step by Step)
The application is accepted only online through the Council's counselling portal. There is no offline form. Follow these steps:
1Open the official portal — go to rsahcouncil.org and click "Online Counselling 2026-27" (or open admissions.rsahcouncil.org directly). Click "Apply Online for Admission in Session 2026-27".
2Register with your name (exactly as in 10th marksheet), mobile number, e-mail, date of birth and category. Keep this mobile number active till admission — all OTPs and allotment alerts come on it.
3Fill the application form — 10th and 12th board, roll number, year of passing, subject-wise marks of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths and English, total marks and percentage. Your merit rank is generated from these marks, so enter them exactly as printed on the marksheet.
4Upload documents — scanned photo, signature, 10th and 12th marksheets, category / EWS / domicile certificate and any special-category certificate (PH, defence, divorcee, TSP), in the size and format given on the portal.
5Pay the application fee online — Rs. 1,500 (UR / EWS / OBC / MBC) or Rs. 1,000 (SC / ST). The fee is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted anywhere later. Enter your own bank account details carefully — the Rs. 10,000 counselling advance is refunded to this account if no seat is allotted.
6Submit and print — download the application form and payment invoice (the portal has "Re-Print Application Form" and "Re-Print Payment Invoice" options). Then wait for the provisional merit list and check your rank.
RPMC Paramedical Course Fees 2026-27 (Official Fee Structure)
The Council fixes the maximum fee that a private or government college can charge for these diploma courses. The figures below are from the official 2025-26 notification and apply equally to DMLT, DRT, DOTT, ECG, Ophthalmic and all other diplomas.

💰 Rs. 10,000 Advance Fee — Official Refund Rules
- If no college is allotted in any round, the full Rs. 10,000 is refunded to the bank account given in the application form.
- If a college is allotted but the candidate does not report for admission, Rs. 3,000 is deducted (credited to the Council fund) and the remaining Rs. 7,000 is refunded.
- If the candidate reports, takes admission and later leaves the college, the amount is non-refundable and the college also does not return the fee paid for the current session.
- The Council does not collect any tuition fee — it is paid directly to the allotted college. No college may charge more than the Council-fixed fee.
RPMC Counselling Process 2026-27 — How Seats Are Allotted
After the final merit list, the Council runs a fully online counselling in rounds. Here is the official structure, in simple language:
- Merit list: a state-wide merit list is prepared from 10+2 marks and published on the portal. Objections (आपत्ति) are accepted by e-mail for a few days, then the final list is released.
- Option form (choice filling): candidates log in, pay the Rs. 10,000 advance, and fill college + course combinations in order of preference. You may choose up to 4 courses (e.g. DMLT, DRT, DOTT, ECG) and as many college combinations as you like — the more combinations you fill, the higher your chance of an allotment.
- 1st online allotment: seats are allotted merit-wise and category-wise. Download the allotment letter and report to the college within the reporting dates with original documents and the balance first-year fee. Not reporting = allotment cancelled and Rs. 3,000 forfeited.
- Upward movement: a candidate who has taken admission can opt Yes for upward movement. If a seat of a higher preference falls vacant, it is allotted; the earlier seat is then cancelled automatically (you cannot claim it back). If nothing better is available, you stay in the same college. After the 3rd online round there is no upward movement.
- 2nd and 3rd online rounds: for candidates who were not allotted or did not fill the option form earlier (they pay the Rs. 10,000 at this stage). Candidates already admitted cannot enter a later round afresh — only upward movement.
- Mop-up round: after the online rounds, vacant seats are filled through a mop-up round announced by public notice.
- Offline counselling / CLC (College Level Counselling): in the last stage, remaining vacant seats are filled at college level as per the Council's offline counselling guidelines; in 2025-26 this went on till the end of March 2026.
⚠ Read Before Filling the Option Form
Study the college list, course and seat matrix carefully before submitting your choices. Once the option form is submitted it cannot be edited. If a college whose recognition is later withdrawn was allotted to you, the Council shifts you to another college as per merit on the available vacant seats. Colleges cannot add seats mid-counselling, and new colleges cannot be added once counselling has begun.

Carry the originals plus self-attested photocopies at the time of reporting to the allotted college. The college verifies them and marks your joining on the portal.

Important: the college keeps only photocopies for verification — it must return your original documents. If the college is not returning originals, report it to the Council; the college is then responsible.
Which Course Should You Choose? DMLT vs DRT vs DOTT vs ECG vs Ophthalmic
All five courses have the same eligibility, same fee and same 2-year duration — the difference is the department you work in and the government posts you become eligible for. Here is a quick comparison to help you fill your option form wisely.
1. DMLT — Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology
The most popular paramedical diploma in Rajasthan, offered by the largest number of Council-affiliated colleges. You learn Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Clinical Pathology, Histopathology and Blood Banking. Career: Lab Technician / Lab Assistant in government hospitals (RajMES, medical colleges, CHC/PHC), AIIMS, RRB, ESIC, BSF/CAPF, and private diagnostic labs. 2. DRT — Diploma in Radiation Technology (X-Ray Technician / Radiographer)
Offered in government medical colleges and private institutes across the state. You study radiation physics, X-ray equipment, radiographic positioning, CT, MRI basics and radiation safety. A smaller course, offered by a limited number of institutions, but with a clear job profile: ECG Technician in cardiology departments, ICUs and diagnostic centres. You study cardiac anatomy, ECG machine operation, 12-lead recording, TMT and Holter basics. 5. Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology (DOPT)
Offered by a limited number of government medical colleges and private institutes. You learn eye anatomy, refraction, vision testing, ophthalmic instruments and assisting in eye OPD / surgery. 💡 Registration After the Course
After passing the Council's 1st and 2nd year examinations you receive the diploma and must take registration with the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council (Apply Online for Fresh / Renewal of Registration on rsahcouncil.org). This registration number is mandatory for government technician posts in Rajasthan and is asked for in most recruitment forms.
5 Mistakes to Avoid in RPMC Paramedical Admission
1Ignoring the English subject. A candidate who has failed in English (even with a pass in PCB) is ineligible. Check your 12th marksheet before paying the fee.
2Filling only 1–2 college choices. Merit is state-wide; a candidate with a modest percentage who fills many combinations across courses and districts gets a seat, while one who fills only two Jaipur colleges often does not.
3Not reporting within the reporting window. The allotment lapses, Rs. 3,000 is forfeited, and you may not get the same college again.
4Taking direct admission in a non-recognised college. The Council has issued public notices against unrecognised / non-affiliated institutions and has barred colleges from student allotment in the past. Only a seat allotted through the Council portal is valid for Council exams and registration.
5Missing the notification. The Council does not advertise widely; dates are extended and changed by short public notices on the portal. Bookmark this page and the official portal, and check both weekly.
