DMLT Admission 2026-27 Rajasthan: Eligibility, Fees, Merit List Process & College List

The official admission notification for session 2026-27 has not been released yet by the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council. In the last two sessions the online application window opened in July–August (2025-26: 23 July to 21 August 2025; 2024-25: 12 August to 4 September 2024). This guide already covers the complete process, eligibility and official fee structure — so that the moment the 2026-27 notification is released, you can apply on day one. The notification is always published on rsahcouncil.org.

✅ The Biggest Advantage — No Entrance Exam

As per the official admission notification, allotment of colleges to candidates is done entirely on the basis of the merit prepared from marks obtained in the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) examination. There is no written test and no interview. In simple terms, your Class 12 marks alone decide which college you get. So keep your documents ready and be prepared to apply as soon as your Class 12 result is declared.

⚠ The Two Most Common Reasons for Rejection

1. Ignoring the English subject. Many students look only at Physics, Chemistry and Biology while filling the form — but the official rule makes English a compulsory subject, and you must have passed it separately. 2. Assuming ITI or Polytechnic equals Class 12. The Council notification clearly states that candidates who completed ITI or Polytechnic after Class 10 will not be treated as holding the 10+2 qualification and will be declared ineligible. Check both of these on your marksheet before you apply.

Step 1 Online application — apply only through the link on rsahcouncil.org. Offline applications are not accepted at all.

Step 2 Pay the application fee online — Rs. 1,500 for UR / EWS / OBC / MBC and Rs. 1,000 for other categories. This fee is non-refundable in every situation.

Step 3 Provisional merit list is published on the Council website, prepared from your 10+2 marks and category.

Step 4 Objection window — if there is any error in your merit position or category, raise an objection within the notified dates. The office disposes of objections and then the final merit list is published.

Step 5 Deposit Rs. 10,000 advance training fee online. Only after this payment can you fill the choice (option) form.

Step 6 Choice filling — you may select a maximum of 4 courses, but you can add an unlimited number of college + course combinations using those 4 courses. Fill as many combinations as possible — fewer options means a lower chance of allotment.

Step 7 Allotment letter is issued for the first counselling round on the notified date.

Step 8 Reporting — appear at the allotted college within the reporting window with all original documents and deposit the prescribed fee.

Step 9 Upward movement after the first and second counselling — if you want a better college with the same allotment, submit the upward movement option form. No upward movement is allowed after the third counselling.

Step 10 If seats remain vacant, the Council conducts a mop-up / offline counselling round with a fresh vacant seat matrix.

💰 Rs. 10,000 Advance Fee — Refund Rules (Important)

Case 1: If no college is allotted to you even after all rounds of counselling, the entire Rs. 10,000 is refunded to your bank account. Case 2: If a college is allotted but you do not report there, Rs. 3,000 is retained by the Council and only Rs. 7,000 is refunded. Case 3: If you take admission and then cancel it before the counselling process is complete, the training fee deposited at the institution is non-refundable. So fill your choices carefully — list only those colleges you are genuinely willing to join.

⚠ Always Verify the College’s Recognition (मान्यता)

In Rajasthan, only an institution that is recognised or affiliated by the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council for that particular session may run a DMLT course. The Council has itself issued public notices about unrecognised and non-affiliated universities and institutions, and has in the past barred specific colleges from student allotment. Before taking admission: (1) search for your college in the Council’s official affiliated-colleges list, (2) confirm it appears in the seat matrix for that session, and (3) ask the college for its affiliation letter for that session. A diploma from a college without Council recognition will not make you a registered technician — and without registration, both government jobs and laboratory practice are closed to you.

💡 An Important Point About Registration

After completing DMLT you must obtain registration with the Rajasthan State Allied and Healthcare Council. This registration is what legally makes you a practising allied and healthcare professional, and most government recruitments ask for the registration certificate. Registration is granted only if your course was completed from a Council-recognised institution — which is exactly why verifying recognition at the time of admission matters so much.

2 Filling too few choices. You may select up to 4 courses and add as many college combinations as you wish — filling fewer options is the most common reason students miss allotment.

3 Not reporting after allotment. Doing so forfeits Rs. 3,000 and you also lose the allotted seat.

4 Taking admission in a college without Council recognition. Such a diploma does not lead to registration and is of no use for government recruitment.

5 Not tracking the notification. The application window stays open for only three to five weeks. Keep checking rsahcouncil.org regularly, or follow a trusted source for updates.
