Before You Pay: How to Check a Pharmacy College’s Manyata
Pharmacy me sabse zyada dhokha yahi hota hai — college bolta hai “approved hai” par uska PCI approval us session ka hota hi nahi. A pharmacy college in Rajasthan is valid only when it clears all four checks below:
| Approval | Authority | How to Verify |
|---|---|---|
| Course Approval | Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi — under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 | Ask for the PCI approval letter with the PCI code and session year; verify on pci.nic.in |
| State Approval Listing | Rajasthan Pharmacy Council (RPC), Jaipur | RPC publishes approved B.Pharm and D.Pharm college lists on rajasthanpharmacycouncil.in — search your college there |
| University Affiliation | RUHS, Jaipur (Ordinance 28) | If the college is not in the RUHS Pharmacy seat matrix for 2026-27, it is not affiliated for this session |
| Registration Value | Registered Pharmacist status after passing | Without PCI-approved study you cannot register as a pharmacist and cannot run or work in a medical store |
⚠ Golden Rule
As per the Rajasthan Pharmacy Council’s published lists, around 101 colleges are approved for B.Pharm and several hundred institutions for D.Pharm in Rajasthan. Pehle apna college in official lists me dhoondhiye, phir RUHS ke pharmacy seat matrix me confirm kijiye — uske baad hi fees dijiye. Ek session ka approval milna aur aapke session ka approval hona — dono alag baatein hain.

Purane round ki choices apne aap carry forward nahi hoti.

5 Mistakes Pharmacy Aspirants Must Avoid
1 Registration window miss karna. Registration is only from 18 to 28 August 2026 and covers all three rounds. Miss it and you cannot participate in any round.
2 Round 2 / Round 3 me fresh choices na bharna. Choices carry forward nahi hoti — every round needs fresh choice filling before the deadline.
3 Admission lena bina PCI approval letter dekhe. Without valid PCI approval for your session, you cannot register as a pharmacist afterwards.
4 Agent ko paise dena. RUHS pharmacy counselling poori tarah online hai — koi bhi agent seat allot nahi kara sakta.
5 Fee ka receipt na lena aur saare original documents college ko permanently de dena. Always take a stamped receipt and follow the RUHS undertaking proforma.
