OSSSC Radiographer 2026 Preparation Strategy
With 240 posts and only 100 marks deciding selection, every mark counts. Here is a simple strategy that works for the OSSSC Radiographer written test:
- Give 85% of your time to DMRT subjects. 85 out of 100 marks come from radiography subjects and practical skills — Arithmetic and English together carry only 15 marks.
- Master positioning and radiation protection. These two areas repeat every year in Radiographer and X-Ray Technician exams across states.
- Practise practical-skill MCQs. 25 marks are purely application based — exposure factor selection, artefact identification, patient handling, equipment faults.
- Attempt full-length mock tests with negative marking. With 0.25 negative marking, blind guessing lowers your score — practise smart elimination.
- Revise the qualifying cut-off logic. You must cross 35% (30% for reserved categories) just to enter the merit list, so accuracy matters more than attempts.
