Smart preparation tips
  • Master the core domain: Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Histopathology, Blood Banking and lab safety - these carry the 80 domain MCQs.
  • The Lab Technician paper is bilingual (English/Hindi), so revise key terms in both languages.
  • Practice previous-year and model MCQ papers daily; speed and accuracy matter because of negative marking (1/4 mark per wrong answer).
  • Cover the 20 General Knowledge, Aptitude and Computer MCQs - these are easy scoring marks many students ignore.
  • Make short revision notes for normal lab values, reagents, stains and instruments - these are frequently asked.
